AI video tools compared
Most AI video tools now sell the same models, so the real choice is the workflow. Character App's is one saved Character across narrated Slideshow Stories, Clips, written Episodes and Star in a clip, with the count of videos each plan makes printed up front. Below, each tool, what it is best at, and where we differ.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best Higgsfield alternative?
It depends on why you're leaving. For more videos per dollar, look at OpenArt or Pika. For one character across a whole series, with Slideshow Stories and Episodes, Character App. See Character App vs Higgsfield.
Which AI video tool keeps a character consistent?
Most offer a reference image or a trained identity. Character App saves the Character once and uses its kept picture as the reference for every picture, Clip, Slideshow and Episode, including other outfits and Art styles.
Is Character App cheaper than other AI video tools?
Not always. Pika, Viggle and Picsart Saga start lower, OpenArt makes more videos per dollar, and Higgsfield is cheaper for Seedance 2.5 at 720p. Character App's Creator plan makes 64 HD H3 videos for $39.99 a month.
Which tools have an MCP for AI agents?
Character App, OpenArt, Higgsfield, Kling, TopView and Runway (Pro and up) all list one. Character App's returns a quote for every paid step and waits for your yes.
Is there a free AI video tool?
Several have free tiers: Viggle (5 videos a day with a watermark), Krea (a daily allowance) and Runway (125 credits once). Character App's free plan is pictures only.
