How to make your own game show
Write the format in one line: who hosts, who plays, what they win. A game show is a sitcom with a scoreboard
Nobody remembers the questions. They remember the host who winks at the camera before delivering bad news, the contestant who buzzes in before the question is read, and the grand prize that turns out to be a llama. That makes a game show a character format: the same host, the same studio and a few returning players, with the game as the excuse. Character App is built for exactly that. The buzzer
The fastest laugh in the format. Someone slams it too early, too late, or with a deadpan answer that is somehow right.
The reveal
The box opens, the curtain lifts, the score flips. Hold on the contestant’s face a beat longer than feels polite.
The sign-off
The host closes with a promise or a threat about next week, and the next Episode picks up from it.
Parody the format, invent the show
Everyone knows the shapes: the quiz, the wheel, the mystery box, the dating game, the cooking duel. Borrow the shape and invent the rest, with an original title, host and set. Aim jokes at situations and archetypes rather than real hosts or real shows. If you want your family in it, add your own photo and invite relatives who say yes; everyone else can be an original contestant who looks suspiciously like a dentist from Ohio.
