How a Slideshow Story is made

Pick or make a Character
Make a Character from words, a photo or both, in any art style. Its kept picture is the reference every slide starts from, so the face and outfit stay the same from slide to slide.

Say the Story in one sentence
Type what happens, or start from your own photos. The Story is written as slides, each with one line of narration and the words that show on screen.

The slides are drawn
Each slide is a picture of your Characters in the Story’s World and art style. Redraw any slide you don’t like before you share it.

Narration and music go on by default
The narrator is the World’s narrator voice, else your lead Character’s voice, else the default narrator, over a track from the house music library.

Change the sound for free
The sound panel swaps the track, sets the music level and how far it dips under the voice, and has Undo. Making your own music (15 Credits per started minute) or a sound effect (12 Credits) is the only priced step.

What a Slideshow Story is, and what it is not
A Slideshow Story sits between a single picture and a filmed Episode. It tells a whole Story in pictures with a voice and music, so it reads like a short narrated film without filming every shot. Each piece of a Slideshow is a slide; each piece of a filmed Story is a Clip.

Faceless story channels post narrated stories over pictures: a mystery, a bedtime story, a romance in six beats. A Slideshow Story is that format with one difference: the pictures star the same Characters every time, so a channel can run a series instead of unrelated posts.

A Slideshow can start from your own photos: a trip, a pet, a family day. Use photos you took or have the right to use; if a real person is in them, they need to agree. The narration and words turn the set into a Story rather than a photo montage.
How Slideshow Stories are published
There is no public feed in Character App, and nothing is posted for you. You publish a Slideshow Story in one of two ways, both with a plan:
Export and post it yourself
Make video runs in the background and lands in Activity. Then Save video opens the share sheet or downloads the MP4 for TikTok, Reels, Shorts or anywhere else.
Send a private watch link
Make public link shows a preview first, then gives you a link to copy. The link has an end date and you can revoke it. Its page is not indexed by search engines and carries a Make your own button.
What a plan makes
Plans are monthly and cancel any time, with no watermark and commercial use under the Terms. One pool of Credits makes any of these.

Can I pick the narrator’s voice?
The narrator is the World’s narrator voice when it has one, else the lead Character’s voice, else the default narrator. Give a World or a Character a voice once and every Slideshow Story in it uses that voice.
Can I post a Slideshow Story on TikTok?
Yes, with a plan: export it as a 9:16 MP4 with words on and post it from your phone. Free makes picture-only Slideshows inside the app; export comes with a plan. Label it as AI-made where the platform asks.
Can a Slideshow Story become a real video?
