Credits are priced per second and per model
Every AI video app that sells credits charges each model at its own rate. In Character App, H3 Turbo is 5 Credits a second, Wan 3.0 is 12 and Seedance 2.5 is 11 at 480p. A 5-second Clip is the rate times five: 25, 60 and 55 Credits.
So “1,600 credits” on its own tells you very little. The model and the length decide what it buys.
Turn credits into counts
Divide the plan’s credits by the price of the video you will actually make. Creator’s 1,600 Credits ÷ 25 = 64 five-second H3 Turbo videos. On Seedance 2.5 at 480p it is about 29; at 720p (125 Credits a Clip) it is 12.
Character App prints these counts on every plan for that reason: you see how many videos you get by model name before you pay.
Compare apps on the same video
Compare the same model, length and resolution. Higgsfield’s Plus plan is $49 for 1,000 credits, and a 5-second Seedance 2.5 Clip at 720p is 35 credits there: about 28 Clips a month. In Character App the same Clip is 125 Credits, so Creator makes 12. For Seedance 2.5 at 720p, Higgsfield is cheaper.
Where Character App gives more is the default: 64 H3 Turbo videos of a saved Character on Creator, plus Slideshow Stories at 40 Credits each. Character App is not affiliated with Higgsfield; prices were checked on 2026-11-01.
Why credits run out faster than you expect
Three things eat credits: retakes (every finished take is charged), long Clips (price grows per second) and premium models. Test at 5 seconds on a fast model, then film the keeper on the model and length you want.
In Character App the price on the button is the price charged; if it changes, you see the new number and press again.
What happens to unused credits
Plan Credits reset each month and don’t roll over. Web top-up Credits last 3 months, and Credit packs bought in the iPhone app never expire. Video needs an active plan.
