A story, not a template
Birthday video makers mostly drop a name onto a template. Here the birthday person is the Character: their face, in a cartoon, anime or painted style, in a short story written around them. It works best with one silly premise and one sincere moment at the end.
With their OK, and for grown-ups
Use the birthday person's photo only with their OK. Characters are always adults, so this is not for children's birthdays. Pets are welcome as co-stars with their owner's OK.
