How to make a historical drama with AI

Make invented Characters in a real era, from words, in the Painted Art style. Ask the AI Director for a day in their life and it writes the Scenes. Free, it is a picture-only Slideshow. With a plan, narrate it for 40 Credits or film the Scenes as Clips. It is period fiction, not a documentary.

The history POV, as a narrated Slideshow

"A day in the life of a Roman baker" works as a narrated Slideshow: five slides, a narrator, period music, 40 Credits with a plan on the web. The baker is a saved Character, so the next Story can follow the same baker to the market, the court or the fire.

Fiction, clearly

These are invented people in real settings. The Director writes a believable story, not a fact-checked documentary, so do not use it as a source. Keep real historical figures out of the lead roles, and leave current conflicts alone.

  • Invent the lead

A housekeeper, a scribe, a ferry pilot: someone history did not write down.

  • Borrow the setting

The era, the city and the season are the fun part. Name them in the premise.

  • Say it is fiction

When you post it, label it as a story. It is one.

Period romance and court intrigue

Costume drama is mostly about who wanted whom and who knew what. Write the ball gown or the travelling cloak into the Scene; the face stays the same because the Character does. For a love story first, see romance; for the frontier, see western.

What you get, in counts

Questions, answered

Still curious? The guides go deeper.

Is it historically accurate?

It is period fiction. The Director writes a believable story, but it is not a fact-checked documentary. Do not use it as a history source.

Can I make a "day in ancient Rome" POV?

Yes. Make the narrator as a Character and ask for a day in their life. A narrated Slideshow suits it well.

Can I use real historical figures?

Keep them out of the lead roles. Invent the people at the centre of the story and let the era be real around them.

Is it real video or a slideshow?

Either. Free, you make picture-only Slideshows. With a plan, narrate them for 40 Credits or film real Clips from your Characters.

What does it cost?

Free: your Characters and the Story as a picture-only Slideshow. With a plan, a narrated Slideshow is 40 Credits, a 5-second H3 Turbo Clip is 25, and a 5-Clip Episode (0:25) is 125, plus any Scene pictures the Story draws. Creator is $39.99 a month for 1,600 Credits.
