Why fruit drama works, and why most of it falls apart by Part 3
The fruit trend is reality TV with the fat trimmed off: a face or a shock line in the first seconds, one reversal, and a final shot that makes you need Part 2. It is also where most fruit dramas break. The pineapple in Part 2 has a different crown and a different shirt, and a betrayal only stings when it happens to a face you remember. The fruit drama formula, beat by beat
Most Episodes that travel use the same four beats. Write one line for each and you have an Episode plan the Director can turn into Scenes.
The cold open
The first frame is a face, a shock line or a reveal. “Coconut is back. With her lawyer.” The villa can explain itself later.
The reversal
One turn per Episode, never three. The loyal lime has been texting the grapefruit the whole time.
The confessional
A solo close-up where a fruit explains why they are sour, not bitter. It is the cheapest Scene to film and usually the most quotable.
The cliffhanger
End on a face-off, not a resolution. The next Episode opens in that exact moment.
Build a cast that is nobody else's
The viral fruit series have their own named casts; leave them alone and invent yours. A pomegranate influencer who is full of secrets. A kiwi who is fuzzy on the details. A durian nobody wants to couple with and everyone quietly respects. Give each fruit one outfit, one flaw and one catchphrase, and the drama writes itself. Keep it resort wear rather than thirst trap: the gossip does the heavy lifting, and a well-dressed avocado is funnier than a sexy one.

The villa, the fire pit and the recoupling ceremony are your World, built once and kept.
