Type the setup in one line: the heroine, the love interests and the deadline that forces a choice. A visual novel, filmed
A visual novel is a story told in anime character art and dialogue, usually with choices that send you down one love interest’s route. Otome is the romance branch written for a heroine choosing among suitors. Character App is not a game engine: viewers do not click choices, and nothing here builds a playable app. What it does is film the romance. You plan the common route and each branch as Episodes in one World, and the Cast stays identical across every route, so the prince in the bad ending is the same prince from the prologue.
Build love interests worth choosing
The genre has archetypes readers love. Use them as a starting point, then give each one a detail nobody else has.
The cold one
Formal, precise, impossible to impress. His route is about the one moment he forgets to be composed.
The childhood friend
Has been there the whole time. His route is about the heroine finally noticing, and the risk of ruining everything.

Competes with her for the scholarship, the job, the throne. Every argument is flirting in disguise.
The mystery
Arrives in Episode 2 with no past. His route answers the question the others avoid.

Two or three Episodes everyone sees: the setup, the meeting of every love interest, the event that forces a decision.

Let the audience pick
Post the common route, ask viewers which route comes next, and film the winner. The choice happens in your comments, not in the video.
Play the heroine, or invent her
You can star as the heroine: add your own photo and your Character is drawn in anime style, recognisable on every route. Anyone else you want in the story joins only with their permission; the content policy requires the person in the photo or their written consent. Otherwise every suitor is an original Character you describe. Everyone is an adult, and the romance stays romantic rather than explicit: longing, a held hand, the confession that cuts to the next Scene.

What is the difference between a visual novel and an anime series?
A visual novel is interactive: the reader makes choices that lead to different routes and endings. An anime series is one linear story. Character App films your routes as Episodes, so you get the branches without building a game.
Can viewers choose the route?
Not inside the video; Episodes play straight through. Many creators post the common route and let comments vote on which route to film next.
Can I have several love interests?
Yes. Add as many to the Cast as the story needs; three or four keeps each route meaningful.
Can I use characters from an existing otome game?
No. Those characters belong to their creators. The archetypes are free to use; invent your own suitors, names and designs.
How romantic can it get?
Romantic, not explicit. Everyone is an adult, and sexually explicit content is against the content policy.
