The character sheet
Before Hazel is in a single Scene, there is a sheet: front, three-quarter and back views, plus the expressions the story will need. It is how we design a Character and how Character App keeps Hazel consistent from Clip to Clip, in every Look.
It is not a download. You never manage a reference sheet yourself, and the app does not export a turnaround file; the Cast keeps the Character on-model in the Scenes you direct.
Hazel lives in your Characters
Every Character you make keeps its Looks in one place, one for each World’s Look. Use Hazel in a new World and the Cast brings the same face into that World’s Look, in every Scene and Clip.

Invent the hero together
The best kids' story heroes are small, brave and kind, with one cosy thing they always carry. Ask your child three questions and you're most of the way there.
What kind of animal (or robot, or dragon)?
A hedgehog, a very small bear, a robot who is scared of thunder. Animals and invented creatures work beautifully and keep the story gentle.
What do they always carry?
A mustard-yellow scarf, a tiny blue satchel, a paper lantern. One prop makes the hero instantly recognisable at thumbnail size.
What are they brave about?
The dark, a new school, a big storm. The hero can be brave about the thing your child is working on.
The same hero, every night
Kids notice everything. If the hedgehog's scarf changes colour between Scenes, you will hear about it. Character App builds each Character once and keeps them on-model across every Scene, Episode and Look, so Monday's hero is Friday's hero. Make the forest adventure in watercolour, the garden one in felt-and-clay; she is still her. Each Scene is filmed as a moving Clip — leaves actually burst up when she jumps in.

No photos of children
Kids' stories use original characters. Please don't upload photos of children — your child can invent the hero instead, which is more fun anyway.

Can my child be the main character?
Your child can invent the main character — the animal, the name, the favourite things — and that hero stars every time. Characters are original; please don't upload photos of children.
Is this safe for stories about kids?
You write and direct every Scene and can watch every Clip first. The app is for adults 17+, and the content policy's child-safety rules are strict and always on.
Do I need a photo, or does text work?
Text works — describe the hero in a sentence and the Studio draws them. A photo is only for the family pet or your own likeness.
Does the hero stay the same every night?
Yes. Each Character is built once and kept on-model across Scenes, Episodes and Looks.
Can siblings or grandparents be in it?
Siblings invent their own original characters. Grandparents can appear from a photo with their permission — the content policy requires the person in the photo or their written consent.
What does it cost, and is there a free way to try it?
