How to make an AI influencer

Start with an original adult persona or your own likeness: never someone else's face without their written consent, and never a public figure. Character App builds that persona as a Character, then films them as 9:16 Clips in new outfits, rooms and cities while the face stays the same. Label the account and posts as AI where the platform or the law requires it, and disclose paid deals like any creator. We explain the rules; we don't certify compliance.

Same Character, any Look

Character sheet

The character sheet

Before Mika is in a single Scene, there is a sheet: front, three-quarter and back views, plus the expressions the story will need. It is how we design a Character and how Character App keeps Mika consistent from Clip to Clip, in every Look.

It is not a download. You never manage a reference sheet yourself, and the app does not export a turnaround file; the Cast keeps the Character on-model in the Scenes you direct.

In the Studio

Mika lives in your Characters

Every Character you make keeps its Looks in one place, one for each World’s Look. Use Mika in a new World and the Cast brings the same face into that World’s Look, in every Scene and Clip.

The whole job is a face that doesn't drift

An influencer account promises that the same person shows up tomorrow. Most AI tools keep that promise for one photo; then the jawline wanders. In Character App the persona is a Character with fixed anchors (a platinum bob, three tiny beauty marks under the right eye, a silver ear cuff) reused in every Scene. Change the outfit, the café, the city: the face stays. And it is filmed, as talking-to-camera 9:16 Clips.

Who the influencer can be

This comes before any feature, because it is what gets accounts in trouble.

  • An original persona

Invent an adult who doesn't exist: an age, a style, one signature detail, a niche. The cleanest path, and the most fun.

  • Your own likeness

Use your own photo and let an AI you post the recipe you never get round to filming.

  • Nobody else, unless they agreed in writing

The content policy requires the subject or their written consent. No public figures, no celebrity lookalikes, no persona built on a real creator's face.

Labels and disclosure, explained plainly

Rules differ by platform and country and change often: treat this as a map, not legal advice. Character App explains the rules; it doesn't review your posts or certify compliance, because you publish them yourself.

  • Paid deals (FTC, United States)

The FTC's Endorsement Guides count virtual influencers as endorsers. Disclose a sponsorship or free product clearly, before any 'more' cut-off, as a human creator would.

  • No experience claims

A persona has never tasted the protein bar. Say what the product is, not what it did to a face that isn't real.

  • Platform AI labels

TikTok asks creators to label realistic AI-made content and can apply a label itself; Instagram, Facebook and YouTube have their own AI disclosure settings. Say in the bio that the persona is AI.

  • EU AI Act

From 2 August 2026, Article 50 requires realistic AI-made video that could pass as authentic to be disclosed as artificial.

A week of posts from one persona

Build the persona once, then plan the week as Scenes: coffee Monday, gym Wednesday, a sea-view terrace Friday. Each Scene becomes a Clip with the same bob, ear cuff and smile. Use invented products or your own, never another brand's logo without the deal.

From one line to a Character on film

  1. 1

    Design the persona

An original adult persona or your own photo. Pick the anchors: hair, one mark, one accessory, and a niche to post about.

  2. 2

    Build the feed World

The café, the gym, the flat and the travel spots become places your persona keeps returning to.

  3. 3

    Film the posts

Each post is a Scene: draw the Images, film 9:16 Clips with a plan, export, add your labels and disclosures, post.

Questions, answered

Still curious? Using your own photo and the guides go deeper.

Can it be a completely original face, or does it have to be me?

Both work: an original adult persona or your own likeness. Someone else's face only with their written consent, and never a public figure.

Does the face stay the same across every post and outfit?

That is the Cast's whole job. Direct a new outfit, room or city and the Character keeps the same face and signature details.

Do I have to label it as AI?

Often, yes, depending on the platform and where your audience is. TikTok, Instagram and YouTube have AI disclosure rules, and the EU AI Act requires realistic AI video to be disclosed from August 2026. Check each platform's current rules; we explain them, we don't certify compliance.

Can my AI influencer say they tried or love a product?

Be careful. A virtual persona has no first-hand experience, so “I use this every day” misleads. Disclose paid deals and describe the product, not results the persona never had.

Is it just photos, or can it talk on video too?

Both. Draw Images for the feed, then film talking-to-camera 9:16 Clips with the line you wrote into the Scene.

What does it cost?

Continue with the free Studio: currently one World build, one Character a day and 4 Lite Images a day. Clips need a plan, from $19.99 a month for 800 Credits; a 5-second Clip from an Image on H3 Max Turbo is 15 Credits, shown on the button before you press.
