From your Character to a Seedance 2 Clip

Make the Character once, plan the moment, then pick the model for the take.

  1. Make your Character

    Start from a photo, a few words or both, and pick a style. Keep the one you like; it becomes the reference for every Clip after.

  2. Plan the moment

    Write one line of action and camera, or ask the AI Director for a whole Story. Scenes are drawn as Images first, so you can fix a pose before you film.

  3. Film with Seedance 2

    Pick Seedance 2 in the Clip settings, check the price on the button, and press. Keep the take you like or make a new take.

A model makes a shot. A Character makes it yours.

On its own, a video model starts from whatever you type, so the lead changes between prompts. Character App sends your saved Character with the Clip, so the person in the shot is the one you made.

That works the same whichever model you pick. Seedance 2 is one option and the default model is another; the price of each is on the button.

Pick the model for the moment, not for the whole Story.

Model choice is per Clip and per Scene. Use the default for most takes and save a different model for the moments where you want its look or motion. Mixing models in one Story is normal.

Availability and rates can change, so the app shows the current list and the exact Credit price before each paid press.

The same Character can star in a clip you already have with Star in a clip, lead a vertical drama the AI Director writes, or come back every Episode in a World with a recurring Cast.

Is Seedance 2 the default model in Character App?
No. Seedance 2 is an explicit pick in the Clip settings at its own per-second rate. New Clips start on the default model. You can switch for any Clip or Scene, and the button shows the price before you press.
Can I keep the same character across several Seedance 2 Clips?
Each Clip starts from the same saved Character reference, which keeps the face, hair and outfit close. Results still vary by take and by model, so review each take and make a new one when something drifts.
What does a Seedance 2 Clip cost?

Do I need a plan to use Seedance 2?
Yes. Clips and Film need a plan. Making a Character and drawing Images do not; the free Studio covers a Character a day and daily Lite Images.
